Just A Little Prick
I found this pin on vacation and stared at it for a
few minutes. Some friends have given me some
good ideas on using him in a more substantial
piece (a bunch of these sitting on a cloth diaper..),
but I'm just happy with the idea I came up with.

This is some awesome stuff. The kinda thing that makes you slap your head and say, "man, why didn't I think of doing that?!" Then you realize it's because it's a lot harder than it looks, and because you're not that talented.

Ditto from The Sneeze. I love this piece! Then again, I used to have a scorpion and thought it was just about the cutest thing ever. Go figure!
And yup- any kind of wire work is hard on the fingers, to say the least! Hence my very brief trip in (and right back out of) French beaded flowers. hehe
Hi there. I found you through The Sneeze (that Steve is nothing if not well-connected). I really like your work. How do you protect your creations from rust? Do you have to use a special type of wire or coating?

Sleepless Mama- I use mainly stainless steel now. Although I've used galvanized a lot also. Galvanized will tarnish (which actually helps in seeing it in person) but won't rust if you have it inside.
