That may be the creepiest spider I have ever seen! But perhaps more creepy is the fact that the fries stood up so well to so much manipulation...

Thanks for the nice comments all. Yes, I put the wire through the fries first, then bent. The staler they got, the stronger they got.
I'm not a fan of the place, but they make great iced-tea. And the fries are pretty good too, of course. I had to go back once for another container, because I ate too many "ugly" ones, and ran out before I was done.

thats so crazy. i love it! did you create the sculpture just sitting in the mcdonalds? i wonder what kind of reactions youd get from the people around you.
hahaha! the slanted edges of the fries work surprisingly well as pointy end bits. and a packet of ketchup would react so similar to a body if squished...brilliant!

Amazing! your insectoid forms are so graceful and lively. What a menacing spider. Probably would make the fast food chain uncomfortable if taken as a reference to cleanliness. The smaller insect's attitude - Uh oh.

I've been watching Monsters, Inc. with my nephew. There's a striking resemblance between your fry sculpture and Mr. Waternoose. Love it!
