Mama and baby move forward with their lives. Just quick shot that I grabbed shortly after the salad image.
I was all set to make a new piece today, had all the objects I needed except a book from the local library, and someone beat me to it. Don't people know I need my props?! Well, tomorrow I go to the used bookstore to buy a book that will work. I still run this operation on a shoe-string budget, but I'll splurge because I'm so excited about the image.
Also, I bought some interesting materials to make a pig out of this evening.
Thanks for all the great comments the last few days. There are a couple that need personal replies, and I hope to get to those soon.

Great Blog! Congrats
You've got quite an imagination - it's like a whole new world of critters and creatures! I'm recommending your site to my friends =)
I love, love, LOVE your sculptures!
I am a fine arts student, so it's refreshing to see people out there who don't take themselves too seriously. Thanks as well for the 'how to' - I have been tentatively experimenting with wire as a material, so your tips are much appreciated!
Really good stuff man, keep it up
This one is adorable. I love your stuff. How long have you been doing this, and what kind of camera and editing software do you use?
I absolutely love your work. You're definitely an artist's artist. Brilliant!
Thank you for all the nice comments. I usually start my day by reading them, and it's an awful lot of fun.
As for what kind of camera I use- nothing fancy. Everything you see on this blog was shot with a Canon PowerShot SD 500. The real trick is the lighting, I use to be a commercial photographer in another life. Sometimes I reshoot the image with an old Pentax 6x7 medium format camera, so that I can make really big prints in the future.
