FABULOUS! I'd love to show the images to my 7th grade students this year. They need some boosters in the creativity/think outside the box category. Is that ok with you? I teach English language arts, and I'm sure I can find a way to fit it into my curriculum, such as story starters, brainstorming tool during writing workshop, etc.

Well, sir...this turned out great! In spite of my vote for a Really Bent installation today, I am enjoying this immensely.

Also, the stick and blue background make the photo really POP! The scene looks positively...ummmm...fecund!

This is very clever..

I'd love to see one of these with an old CD player eating an iPod, or something to that effect. =P

Very nice blog, I've almost finished looking through every page. Very addicting.

Thanks for all the nice comments. Butterfly- I added the blue at almost the last moment, it really helped the shot. Rollercoaster- go for it, you sound like a cooler art teacher than I ever had.

I can see your stuff in a big expensive coffee table book or something.
I wouldn't be able to afford such a book.

but I certainly would try to steal such a thing

I see syndication! (and a big expen$ive coffee table book)
You're visuals appeal to EVERYONE.
I'll consider this one for Costa Rica (Central America) since we're the Jungle too! Pura Vida!!! Teri
p.s. the voting for next image is brillant!

Hey Terry and everyone!

I wrote a new post on my blog last night about monetarily-worthless-but-treasured objects - Will y'all share yours? Seemed to me that it would be right up this crowd's alley! ;-)

You could write about in the comments, or post it on your own blog and tell me the link, OR even send me a picture in an email and I will post them on my blog!

thx - <3 Vanessa

Just when I think you can't possibly come up with something better you do!! Each one is better than the last. How do you do it? You must lay awake at night thinking up new ideas. Well don't stay awake to long I want you well rested so you make more.

I hated it.

Oh, that's a huge lie. I loved it. I'm just not used to seeing so many positive remarks in one place on the internet. :)

I just encountered your blog and find it genius!!

Great art, great imagination. I will definately show this to my 8 year old son who is constantly creating things in his bedroom but not cleaning up after himself because he is "still creating".

I look forward to more!

Oh my - this is my fave!!!!!!

You are unbelievable. To heck with those other people - publish your own book! I'd buy it for everyone I know for Christmas, I promise!

You should let me borrow Mr. Blue for my blog - understandblue.blogspot.com - he'd be a perfect mascot.
