So I have a request too, although it's of a more general, bloggy nature: Would you consider adding titles to future posts (e.g., input the name of each work into the title of the post in which it appears)? It'll make your archives much more visually appealing (and less jumbled), and do the same for those of us who subscribe via RSS.
I feature you regularly in my blog's "Recommended Reading" sidebar, but Google Reader, like Blogger, tends to guess wrong on the titles. People would be more likely to click through to you, I think, if the posts were more neatly titled. Plus, post titles make search-engine robots happy, and happy Googlebots = more readers.
Regardless, thanks as always for the entertainment!
Wowsa! This one has so much movement and drama!!! That pickle really looks like a man in the throes of death...and the olive is giving it all he's got! Really great. Well done, sir.
if only ALL olives and sweet pickles would fight to the death! i hate both. yuk. you found a much better use for them. perhaps they will be the next underground scene? : P
Fabulous! Now THIS is the kind of fight I'd like to see at Thanksgiving dinner (we always have a dish of both gerkins and olives) instead of the usual family squabbles.
Awesome! There's always so much going on in your images. You should consider joining a stock photography website such a Corbis or Getty's image and submit your images i'm sure they would love to have your photographs and hey you might even get some of them published. You can also try JPGMAG.COM and get a chance to have them published there too.
that gherkin was a jerk anyways. hey, terry, while we're adding wish list ideas about the site, is there a way to keep each page in your archive separate? meaning, when I click on next page and then select an image to see it enlarged, i'm sent back to the front page when i click "back" instead of to the page i am on at the time. hope that came out clearly enough. anyways, i just tired of clicking through and scrolling down every page again and again. (it could just be me)
Terry, To reiterate what Richard wrote, I was thinking that some of your work would be perfect to sell to www.shutterstock.com. I've purchased whimsical or humorous fruits/veggie items from them before...but the selection is VERY limited, and nothing as clever as your work.
Great work I love it. I too noticed the shadow looked like a spoon. At first I thought maybe that's how you suspended the art. I really like the green gradient background. Very nice.
I'd say that Olive definitely got the pickle in the middle.
Oh my that gerkin's in a pickle. While the little olive is saying "I stabeth thee". The little olive guy, he is a guy isn't he, he's not wearing the go-go boots, reminds me of Mike Weisowzki from Monster's Inc. Love it, love it, love it. Or as redjen910 said "olive it".
Have you thought about using nuts? Like walnuts, hazelnuts, pecans, etc. In the shell or out.
I'm a person who laughs at the absurdities of life, which there are many.
After four decades on Planet Earth, I feel I've finally found a way to bring into existance all of my crazy thoughts and ideas. It's been a struggle searching for a "language" that I can translate them into, so that others might appreciate my points of view. Yes, I know -blah,blah,blah! Enough about me already.
One more thing though - I do hope you enjoy your time here. Life is short, have fun!

FANTASTIC! Though I hate to eat Olives and Pickles, I love to see them here! Is it over for the Pickle, or does he still have it in him to kill Olive?
Wow, this is great! There's so much action captured here. I love it.
PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!
what brand pickles did you use?
You really are bent! :)
But I love it! Always check your site when I need a smile.
Hey Terry:
Awesome as usual.

don't know why I noticed this, but the shadow looks like a spoon.

I know what that blogger Boiled Egg in a Deckchair would be shouting at the olive!
It's amazing - you've created such movement, Terry. I really like it!
WHY?! I hate it when they die like this.
strange code below: "nurkpeu"
what is it, and in what language? is it perhaps the name of the olive?
hahaha! i can't believe no one's commented on the title yet--i love it.
Amazing work! This is fantastic!

COOL !!!! "Olive it" too!
We should all "Relish" life and death....priceless!
You really should get published someday in a work all your own.
Thank you and ...
Sew long . . .
Genius work yet again Terry!
Though, I am at a complete loss trying to figure out how they are standing on their own!

love to love the olive.
I think that olive almost looks "surprised" at what he has done.....sort of the "Oh no" thing...
This is awesome! The background lighting is fabulous. I personally think that the pickle is winning...I hate olives.
This made me very happy this morning.
thanks for celebrating the absurd. i really enjoy your visuals!
I smile here by myself!
very nice work!

Dmitriy is right! The shadow looks just like a spoon...
I'd like to think it is the looming specter of death...coming to take the last spoonful of relish -- aka the gherkin's soul!
muuuuuaaahaaaaaaahaaaaaaaa
Every time I check in to see your latest creation, you do not disappoint! This is great...I just love your stuff. Keep it up. You're awesome!
LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT... you just get better and better. Was this the winner of the poll?
How about red cabbage vs yellow cabbage!
He so totally shanked him.
Thank you all for your comments and suggestions. Yes, this was indeed the winner of the object nomination.
TAMSY- Good suggestion, I just figured out how to do that title thing, and will slowly convert all this.
K_sra- I have know idea how to solve that problem, but I'll look into it. I'm not computer geek at all. A geek for sure, just not with computers.
Thanks again all!
I just love this one. The olive looks very agressive!
I watched the Patriot last night and this is the first time that Mel Gibson reminds me of an olive. (Final battle scene)
Awesome, IMHO your best so far!
HAHAHA
that is so funny and sad
i was actually hoping the olive would die.
oh my... I love this.
Utterly fabu.
You are utterly out of your mind and a GENIUS at the same time. I love you. Your blog is da bomb!
Great work I love it. I too noticed the shadow looked like a spoon. At first I thought maybe that's how you suspended the art. I really like the green gradient background. Very nice.
I'd say that Olive definitely got the pickle in the middle.
Looking good, Terry! Thanks.
