LOVE IT!

I can hardly see the keys to type because I'm laughing so hard. At first I was thinking "oh how cute, the candy corn is holding hands". Then I noticed "Jason" wearing a mini hockey mask holding a tiny knife stalking them. Where do you find such small props? Is that mask a fake fingernail? I love this. Well done again.

Terry! You're awesome.

I have a discerning sense of humor and you never fail to tickle it.

Let's figure out how to get you some money so's you can do this more often.

Well done! I thought this would be a stumper, but you pulled it off beautifully. You are a creative genius!

I must be undiscerning, much too frightened to laugh. is it a pen nib?

This is kind of terrifying, but it is certainly in the darker side of the spirit of Halloween.

As if candy corn isn't scarey enough.... (I could never eat that stuff).

Brilliant as always!

hi terry,

omg that is HILARIOUS! i love how you have captured the entire teen slasher flick genre in just one shot, and how you've isolated the corn couple in the "woods" thanks to the pumpkin stem!

everything that you create, stage and shoot is so clever and i love it all! thank you so much for making these wonderful things! i can't wait to start collecting these photos if and when you sell them!

First I saw the cute little couple and said, awwww sweet.......but then... I noticed what I thought was a knife in the hands of the guy hiding in the shadows... ... oh, noooooooo!!

Brilliant! So glad you share this stuff.

That is the best ever! I cannot imagine how you come up with this stuff.

Were you able to find a messed up kernel, or did you have to make the mask?

Genius!!!
I will never look at Candy Corn the same way again!

You never disappoint. Thanks.

Thanks peeps!

I had to make the mask out of Fimo. The knife is actually supposed to be a dinner knife for dollhouse people, but I filed it down to this look.

My daughter likes to believe that the hockey mask dude is a friend of the other two. He just wants to jump out and scare them. That's how she likes to think about it anyway.

What a great juxtaposition - tasty little sugar nuggets and a classic teen slasher flick. You are the man...

Hahaha! The lines in the "tree" draw your eyes naturally to Jason...and then you realize it's a pumpkin and it's even better!

Brilliant. What else can one say!

Just curious as to whether you painted the tip of the "Jason" to make it completely orange and offset the mask, unlike the two with white tips or did that just happen to be an outcast of the bunch?

Besides that another GREAT creation Terry!

Thanks for the further comments, peeps. Love waking up in the morning, checking 'em out and knowing I made something that people like. Besides the fact of possibly making some money from my creations sometime soon, having people love my work is really what an artist lives for.

Matte- No paint involved on the corn here. If you look at a bag of this stuff, there will be a lot of little differences in each one. Some don't get every color. (You learn this kinda stuff when you examine every piece of candy in a bag! ha!)
