Remember that you don't have to give me ideas on what to do with the objects, that's the fun part for me! hehe
If you aren't a regular here, maybe you want to take a go through some of my older images to see if I've already used the object you were thinking of.
Some winners of past Bent Objects nominations--
Olive and a Gherkin, for "Relishing Life...and Death"

Chapstick, for "This Chap Sticks the Landing"

And candy corn, which appeared as "Halloween Candy".

The vote winner will be announced Friday morning!
Good Luck!

Perhaps you could use a glasses case, or, a little stranger, a Nerf gun bullet.
I felt so bad for the cheese doodle at the party with the fancy hors d'ouevres. I think cheese doodles should be allowed to shine in their own scene.
A stick of butter lying on a butter dish under a clear plastic cover with a butter knife leaning over....to awaken her!
I gotta go vulgar and vote for a tampon. The cheese doodles do seem to have a lot of potential also.
i'd like to see what you could do with needles from record players (stylus).
could end up slightly costly unless you already have some/can borrow mates ones.
the queen- that idea is splendid, but thinking up the scene is the fun part for me. So don't do that!! ;)
(I may have to make that scene sometime though...)
Good start so far. Keep 'em coming!
How 'bout some love for the great Fig Newton... or it's saucy cousin, the RASBERRY Newton!
Lab test tubes (if you know anyone in a research or med lab, as, for some 15 ml conicals)
flashlights
...the orange and banana series is fantastic
Instant coffee.
Connectors and plugs. There's a huge variety: two and three prong electrical, headphones, USB, telephone, parallel port, and on and on.
Oh oh! Conversation hearts! You know, those chalky little Valentine's Day candies with words on them. I've seen them in the stores lately, and I'd love to see what you would do with them.
:)
Spaceranger
Kazoos.
pretzels!
and I like the Fig Newton idea =)
how about noodles? but the tampons area good but dirty idea
Lollipops...the kind with the straight stick as well as the ones with the loopy "safety sticks."
My idea: 35 mm film - hardly ever used anymore - everyone is digital
Also like: the lollipops - remembering the saftey stick ones made me laugh!
Soda can tabs.
As for previously suggested, valentine's heart candy.
Sugar cubes.
shopping cart
I like the idea of fig newtons.
Q-tips
I'm sorry.. I couldn't get past "safety stick" lollipops. What?? Now I have to go searching one out to see what the heck somebody has done to a simple sucker stick to protect us from ouselves? Dammit is there no common sense anymore? Can human beings not even be trusted to suck on a lolly without poking out an eye or gagging on the stick when it gets sideways in their throat or what? Won't be long before they outlaw knives, forks and all other "sharps" altogether. Soon, we'll be grabbing a steak in our hands again...right back to the cave where we began.....sigh....I better start making my stash of sharp sewing things, like needles and scissors ... and hiding them out in the bush for when I move far, far away... ...
Ice Cubes
(gonna have to work fast)
A fish hook or fishing lure.
kazoos are a great idea. i've always been a fan.
(the queen's butter dish idea is an amazing mental image, though)

Measuring Tape
I also like the idea of Test Tubes.
I vote for Conversation Hearts.
pregnancy test
how about cassette tapes (about as difficult to find, perhaps, as a record stylus)?
otherwise, I'm fond of the Fig Newton.
A can or bottle of Dr Pepper would be an excellent idea.
-Tim
a piggy money box!
I also vote for conversation hearts! Oh, and Fritos might be fun.

And then i'll vote for the 35mm film roll
crisps (potato chips)
test tubes are a good idea too.
clothespins
i like the test tubes, but i think you should include flasks and beakers as well, since you are an equal-opportunity artist.
buttons. the sewing kind, and/or the pushing kind.
A block of post-it-notes, and I like the fig newton idea too.
How about coins? Quarters, nickels, dimes.
Unless of course you are in another country...then you could use whatever money you use there.

Also like the goldfish crackers suggestion
Mini bottles of perfume(like Obsession and Escape).
to start off i like the goldfish crackers idea!! i think you should use the fridge magnets like the plastic letters!!=D or fridge magnits with faves on them!! =D
My vote is for Fig Newtons. Or Raspberry Newtons. Or a whole FAMILY of Newtons!
EGG SEPARATOR (kitchen tool)
Valentine Heart candies, I like.
I have to vote tampons because I always do, but I'm really excited about the cheese doodles idea. We call them "pee poofs" in our house thanks to a young cousin.
I'll leave a second vote for post-it notes.
Food Saver bags or ziplocks... hee hee hee!
And I like the lollipops, so many differnt kinds to choose from!

puzzle pieces?
A rose and the stinking rose (garlic)

Dice
A can of alum powder.
I'm surprised no one has nominated it yet, so I'm going to go ahead and do it.
Chess pieces.
I vote for the conversational candy hearts. For second choice, I'm surprised Pike Peak Coffee didn't mention coffee beans so I will. Unless I missed it, you've never used the beans that give us our national cup of joe!
On with the blather
contact lens and case, i love the paddle ball its my favorite
Okay... I am back. I have stayed away because I was soooo "down in the dumps" about never winning a poetry entry to win once of those little great gadgets of yours....
BUT here are my ideas...
1. BAND-AID's. Plain or child prints.
2. ICE CUBES. Square. Moon shaped. Crushed. Doesn't matter...
3. Kleenex. Boxes. Big or Small. Round or Flat.
4. Barbie Doll Heads. Barbie. Ken.
5. Do I really have to name one that wasn't mine...????
I totally vote for connectors! There are a million types. Or TV antennas... or tampons but that might be a really bent obj submission.
You've done so much with wires, I'm curious as to what sort of doodads you could whip up with pipe cleaners.
Feathers is my suggestion.
Votin' for conversation hearts. It's even the perfect season for it.
Wing nuts and/or star washers
Mobile Phone/Cell Phone
dental floss
tampons
licorice rope
I guess giant squid are out of the question.
How about circus peanuts? Those nasty orange candies?

and a "little mood music"
=)

or 35mm film
Love "A fish hook or fishing lure"
I vote for one of those rubber fingers you use to sort through papers.

MG
dog biscuits
Being a quilter, I have to state the obvious...anything with fabric, needles or sewing machine might be interesting.
A steaming dog turd served under glass.
:-)
previously mentioned -- conversation hearts
my suggestion -- spark plugs
I'm sure ANYTHING that is selected will be wonderful!!!
I will say tampons.
"TAMPONS" !!!!
Golf Tees
and I second the notion of Cheese Doodles
On with the blather...THANK YOU for mentioning coffee beans. I've suggested them several times in the past, but thought I'd not mention them again for fear of sounding like a broken record...but I can see the little beans now...with their little spindly wire legs. And in our shop, they are always escaping through the holes in their burlap sacks...brandishing stir sticks as swords... :-)
Whats with the tampons obsession?
How about Super Balls? You know the bouncy balls...
I would like to see what you would do with Shrapies (permanent markers.
Game pieces from Monopoly, SON!
Potato peeler!
I like the previously mentioned fortune cookies.
I'd also like to see skeleton keys. I have my own idea for an image, but I won't mention it. I'd love to see what you'd come up with!
Kazoos and conversation "love" hearts.
U shaped magnets...
and tampons are good too
what about the Fisher Price "Little People"? They don't have any arms or legs anyway! (The old ones that were about 2 inches tall).
tampons!
Monopoly pieces is a great idea! I also vote for postage stamps (from around the world), love hearts, and plugs.
Can't wait to see what you make of all these ideas´!
Red Motorola Krzr.
My phone fell out of my pocket and crushed by many cars before I got back to it. Glad it happened, hated that phone. I would be willing to send to you if you wish. It's just going to get trashed. I have the screen portion and part of the back, the rest was pounded into little tiny pieces.
How about Large Binder clips. You know the ones we use to hold documents/papers togther.
I do like the idea of stero needles if you can find them.
Candy hearts do seem like they would have potential.
What about a laser pointer?
Cocktail Shrimp!
Or, some of the stress squeezy balls.
eggs!
How about Twinkies and Ding Dongs...or even a rivalry between competing snack cake brands.
Rotary Telephone.
I second nominations for conversation hearts and circus peanuts.
I nominate martini umbrellas (which could totally be something besides an umbrella), push pins and a cork board, or tea spoons/balls, those ones made of mesh to hold loose tea leaves.
I also note, however, that I miss all of your straight wire work that wasn't so much about what objects you incorporated as what the wire itself became. I wonder if you could combine pipe-cleaners with plain wire for some sculptures?
Honey Bear
kazoo
Your work is great fun. Thanks!
i like the magnetic letters idea
go for it!
How about a little bottle of nail polish? :)
My nomination....a box of birthday candles....new or used...or both.
and I'm fond of the kazoo....I play a mean one.

suggestion: tea bag
Wow, these area all amazing!!
I nominate a Corn Dog (mini one's are acceptable)
And I like the conversation heart idea the best, although that will be too easy for you as..well..they already have the words. LOL.
A diaper.
my vote goes to tampon.
Another vote for lollipops - perhaps an ironic twist on the safe-t-pop?
I vote for lollipops. There's serious potential there.
For example, if you stick a red dum-dum in the microwave for a minute or so, it melts. When it rehardens, it looks like it's been shot in the head or something.
Knitting needles (the cheap metal ones)!
I know I might be a little late, but I like the Newton theme.....Just don't forget there brother Wayne!!!!!
Condoms.
Tape vs. Stapler.
