Iron Man!

When I was a kid, I read my share of comic books. I'm not much into them now, but I remember them fondly, and still get excited when a movie starring one of the characters premiers. Over the weekend, I was one of the billion people who went to see Iron Man, starring Robert Downey Jr.

How would I rate the movie? I liked it a bunch. Check it out sometime.

Before you scroll down to the images, look to the sidebar and press the play button of the soundtrack. I tried to give you some audio to listen to, as you follow this incredible story of good over evil.

OK, now start the music (you'll find I have no shame these days), and scroll on down!

Look!! It's Iron Man!!!

(keep scrolling down)

An unfortunate roll of the dice...

He attempts to escape justice, pass go, and collect $200!
Iron Man sez- "Not so Fast, evil doer!"

The bad guy is no match for... Iron Man!

Another job well done!

The End.

Pure genius, Mr. T
who else would look at a monopoly board and see something entirely different?

When iron man is holding up the car, are those pieces really able to balance like that? Your works never fall short of amazing, but this one is particularly enjoyable. And the 'sound track' really does add something special. : ) Thanks for sharing with us!

Hahaha! Terry, you never fail to amaze. I always wondered about the balance thing too, cassie, but he has assured me they stay up perfectly well.

All my best,

Love the addition of a soundtrack!

Hey, thanks everyone!

My wife liked the soundtrack also, and added that I sounded like Homer Simpson.

Valency- I remember your comment about using monopoly pieces. I always thought it was a good idea, and I'll give you credit for putting the possibility in the back of my mind.

This is one of the three Monopoly sets we own- the classic version, the Michael Graves version (great but the player pieces aren't as good), and the Rudolph version.

Cassie- as Carol said, they all balance pretty well.

Again, Thanks!

Hehehe, that's a hoot Terry! How did you get Elvis to work on the soundtrack for you? ;)

Iron Man was a practically flawless hero flick; its makers drop some pretty obvious sequel hints too... i'm thinking the next one should be equally great

I agree with Katie -- nice work with the depth of field.

I had so much fun composing a poem for your underpants contest that I have challenged myself to write 50 more sonnets. I am posting them on www.sonnetized.blogspot.com.

Yesterday's post kicks off a contest -- enter to win valuable poetry!

I sure enjoy your blog.

Thanks,
Matt
