A little news if you haven't noticed- I made a facebook page for Bent Objects. The Bent Objects photo album there has disappeared for some strange reason (if you ever need help from facebook, forget it), and new images are invisible. I hope to have it working sometime in the future, so I can occasionally post some behind the scenes stuff there. You can become my facebook friend there also if you wish.

LOVE the pear, teeheehee! : )
FYI - According to the latest Facebook TOS, anything you post there that is open to the public can be used by them for FB advertising now and forever amen, even if you close your account. Only your privacy settings override Facebook's ability to use (though not own) your stuff. But if you set your stuff to be viewed by only a chosen few, which is fine for families and friends sharing info and pics, that defeats the purpose for you. I'd look into the wording of the TOS very carefully if you want to use FB to branch out.
There's so much pearsonality in this one. *groan*
A pearable is a brief, succinct story, in prose or verse, that illustrates a moral or religious lesson. It differs from a fable in that fables use animals, plants, inanimate objects, and forces of nature as characters, while pearables feature only pears.
This pear is the most-est! Pure genius in its subtlety.
And yes. Pull your stuff from Facebook ASAP.
How'd you get a picture of me??!!
Your creativity never ceases to amaze me... great work.
I have been sucked in by "the book" as well... and yes, I still believe it is going to eventually explode into a major privacy issue, particularly when you consider many of the people involved with it's development are CIA and other government personnel. Have ya seen "Eagle Eye" yet? *shudder*
And yet, I'm stoked to have reconnected with some old friends, and am more connected to my extended family than I've ever been... how sad am I? (don't answer that)
Playing with your food again.
The Facebook Terms of Service thing has changed - they've gone back to the old ToS. So all worries about what they use photos posted there should be somewhat lessened.

This one is just perfect (I don't want to say pearfect, but I should have).
It's charming.
I just ran across your blog today and its been baffling me, how do you get some of them to stand up?
Thanks all! And thanks for the play-by-play on the facebook shenanigans.
Darja- Simple, lots of practice.
How did you manage to find a pear with a butt? Leave it to you, Terry.
I can't even imagine how many pears you must've dug through to find the perfect one for this photo.
The blanket that the dear pear is holding is too precious for words...
Is it wrong that I want to snap him with a wet towel? Just a teeny one.
reminds me of a toddler who is getting ready to race through the house screaming "naked baby! naked baby!"
hmm a bashful bosc?
Starkirmson streaker?
Shy Seckel?
Bathing Bartlett?
Bare Pear?
APEARantly I"m out.
WOnderful work as always!
That is so cute! :) I love how it has the butt line, and the way it is positioned just says, "Oh, excuse me!"
Ok, just slap some cottage cheese on the behind and you got ME!
Plus it would make a nice little afternoon snack, hmmm. ;-)
Another masterpiece! Damn you're good!
It's wonderful
My top favourite of all favourites among your photos!
