Here's one of the cards available at Target stores now. Just a few Bent Object cards now, but there will be 4 or 5 more next year. Some people might think this is too cute, and doesn't have quite the same edge as most of my stuff. That may be true, but remember- she is serving herself up to be eaten as soon as the candle is blown out.
Tonight's the night I'll be at Big Hat Books in Broad Ripple, Indiana for a book signing. Lots to do there tonight besides me being there though. And some things are being done for a good cause-
Tonight. Broad Ripple, Indiana.

I look for them every Target trip... no luck yet...
Anything that evokes an emotional response is good art.
I, for one, who be *thrilled* to have my art have some commercial value.
Does that card have a cute phrase on the inside? Or is it blank?
Gaa! I'll never eat a cupcake again!
:)
Congratulations Terry. I'll be watching my Target for the cards.
So beyond proud.
I have been reading your
blog for years, I tell everyone
about your art.
congratulations. cathleen
Yes, without your commentary your funny satire will be lost on most.
Me I get it.
Found 'em both today! Score!
Woo-hoo! Got my cupcake card today at Target!
It was in the humor section. Target must be expanding their card selection--I had to scan four isles to find it...)
Great. Glad to see you're getting the exposure.
Just one thing, the greeting card market is by far the worst print industry for idea theft. I can promise you'll see a near-clone of your cards in the 2/$1 bins in a few months. So be careful what you feed the thieves.
Ahh! I totally bought one of these for my friend's birthday (not this specific card, but a different one) and it was like my favorite card ever and I totally just made the connection to this site. I'm a bright one.
